Pacifica Campaign Guide

Cookie DAO has partnered with Pacifica, a leading Perps DEX, to bring InfoFi to Perps Farming.

In this guide, we explain how to earn an additional airdrop when contributing to Pacifica’s mindshare on X.

If at any point you get overwhelmed by terminology used in this guide, check out the glossary at the end of this guide.

How does the Cookie x Pacifica Campaign work?

1. Cookie is using a VIP Pacifica referral link, which means

   1. it earns 5% of all Pacifica Points* earned by Cookie referees

   2. everyone trading through Cookie’s ref link gets a 10% trading fees discount via rebate

   3. everyone trading through Cookie’s ref link gets a 5% boost on their Pacifica Points* *Pacifica Points will be redeemable for campaign rewards in the future.

2. 100% of the rewards that Cookie receives from its Pacifica Points, will be distributed to the Cookie x Pacifica campaign participants.

3. When you join and trade on Pacifica through the Cookie ref link, you earn your Pacifica Points. You also increase the amount of Pacifica points that Cookie earns. More points earned by Cookie mean larger rewards to be distributed in the Cookie x Pacifica campaign.

How are rewards distributed?

The Cookie Pacifica rewards will be distributed to two types of creators:

1. Non-trading creators (30% of rewards) Creators on X who generate Pacifica’s mindshare. Top mindshare creators will tap into the 30% of Cookie’s Pacifica rewards pool. It doesn’t matter if these creators trade on Pacifica using the Cookie ref link or not. You might also see these creators being called ‘Mindshare creators’.

2. Trading creators (70% of rewards) Creators who generate Pacifica’s mindshare AND trade on Pacifica will get 70% of Cookie’s Pacifica rewards pool. You might also see these creators being called ‘Capital-weighted mindshare creators’.

These creator’s position on the leaderboard is determined by their capital-weighted mindshare. Capital-weighted mindshare is your Pacifica mindshare multiplied by your Pacifica trading activity.

When you trade, you can win rewards in both creator groups.

How to join the Cookie x Pacifica campaign?

To join the Cookie x Pacifica campaign:

1. Start posting about @pacifica_fi on X to generate your Pacifica mindshare. Do nothing else & compete for 30% of Cookie’s Pacifica rewards.

2. Join Pacifica via the Cookie ref link

   1. Now the points you generate while trading & referring others increase Cookie’s Pacifica rewards.

   2. You get 10% discount on your Pacifica trading fees via rebate.

   3. You get a 5% boost on all your Pacifica Points.

3. Add the wallet you are using on Pacifica on the Cookie x Pacifica campaign page.

   1. Add wallet here This way we can start calculating your capital-weighted mindshare.

4. Start trading & get more rewards

   1. Now your mindshare is multiplied by your trading activity and turned into capital-weighted mindshare.

   2. You are now competing for 100% of Cookie’s Pacifica rewards.

   3. Every trade you make increases the campaign’s total rewards pool.

5. Refer others to Pacifica & increase the total rewards pool

   1. Use your own ref link to invite others to trade on Pacifica.

   2. You will receive an equivalent of 5% of Pacifica Points earned by your referees.

   3. Cookie will get an equivalent of 5% of the Pacifica Points you earn.

   4. This way the total reward pool will increase.

Why should I join and refer others via the Cookie ref link rather than other ref links?

Simple, you earn more. Pacifica is in close beta and joining via Cookie now gives you an early advantage in farming Pacifica Points.

When you join, trade, and refer on Pacifica via the Cookie ref link, you still get all your usual Pacifica rewards plus:

→ 40% fee discount via rebate

→ 10% boost on Pacifica Points

→ Extra rewards from Cookie*

*Pacifica gives Cookie 5% of the points you earn. Cookie redeems these for rewards and sends 100% of its rewards back to campaign participants.

Instead of your referrer keeping those rewards, we share them, meaning you can earn twice:

→ once from your Pacifica Points,

→ and again from the Cookie x Pacifica campaign.

How do I check my campaign rank?

Your campaign rank determines how much of the Cookie’s Pacifica rewards you will get.

There are two leaderboards, in which you can score rewards:

1. All creators leaderboard: a leaderboard of all creators who generate Pacifica mindshare regardless of whether they are trading on Pacifica via the Cookie ref link.

   These creators compete for a share of 30% of the Cookie’s Pacifica Rewards.

2. Trading creators: a leaderboard of creators who impact Pacifica mindshare AND trade on Pacifica + have connected their trading wallet on cookie.fun. These creators compete for a share of 70% of the Cookie’s Pacifica Rewards.

To check your rank on each leaderboard:

1. Go to the campaign page

2. Scroll down to the leaderboard

3. Select the leaderboard you want to see ('All Creators' or 'Trading Creators)

4. Sort by mindshare & see your rank

How do I claim rewards?

Rewards distribution timeline and details will be provided during the campaign. Make sure to connect rewards wallets on cookie.fun.

Guide: Join Pacifica via the Cookie ref link

1. Click on the Cookie ref link.

   
2. You will be redirected to Pacifica and should see this modal. Click on “Start Claim Code”.

   
3. Choose which wallet you want to use. Click on “Start Trading”. You will be prompted to sign a gas-free signature via the chosen provider.

   
4. Once the transaction is signed, all you need to do is click on “Claim Referral code”.

   
5. You’re in – happy trading!

Glossary

Pacifica Mindshare: The % of all Crypto Twitter conversations that are about Pacifica. I.e., How much attention is Pacifica receiving on Crypto Twitter in relation to all conversations on CT.

Your mindshare: The % of Pacifica's mindshare that you are generating through your posts. We primarily focus on the engagement your posts are generating.

Capital-Weighted Mindshare: Your mindshare multiplied by your and your referees’ trading activity on Pacifica. I.e., how much the attention you generate on CT (mindshare) impacts what happens onchain.

Pacifica Points: Points earned on Pacifica by engaging in organic trading activities on Pacifica via GUI or API. Self-trading, sybil, or any other manipulative activities will not earn Points. More about the Pacifica Points Program: https://docs.pacifica.fi/pacifica/points-program?q=

Cookie’s Pacifica Points: Pacifica Points earned by Cookie when users join, trade, and refer on Pacifica using the Cookie VIP link. These points will be exchanged for Pacifica rewards, all of which will be distributed among the top Pacifica creators.

Pacifica Rewards: Pacifica Points will be redeemable for campaign rewards. Details and the claim timeline will be provided during the campaign.

Cookie’s Pacifica Rewards: The rewards Cookie receives from Pacifica. The size of the rewards will depend on the amount of Pacifica Points earned by Cookie. 100% of Cookie’s Pacifica rewards will be distributed among the top mindshare creators & top capital-weighted mindshare creators.

Total Rewards Pool: The rewards pool for the Cookie x Pacifica campaign, which will be distributed among top creators. This pool consists of 100% of Cookie’s Pacifica rewards. The size of the pool depends on the amount of Pacifica Points that Cookie earns through its referral link. 30% of total rewards will be distributed to mindshare creators, while 70% will go to the capital-weighted mindshare creators.

Cookie Referees: Users who join Pacifica through the Cookie ref link, and trade/refer others to Pacifica. Cookie receives an equivalent of 5% of the Pacifica Points that Cookie Referees earn.

Non-trading creators/mindshare creators: Creators who generate Pacifica’s mindshare but don’t trade or refer on Pacifica. !Please note, creators will be treated as non-trading creators if they don’t trade via the Cookie ref link and/or don’t connect the wallet they use in Pacifica on the cookie.fun Pacifica campaign page.

Trading creators / capital-weighted mindshare creators: Creators who generate Pacifica’s mindshare & trade or refer on Pacifica via the Cookie ref link.

!Please note, you have to connect the wallet you use in Pacifica on the cookie.fun Pacifica campaign page for your capital-weighted mindshare to be calculated.

Cookie Ref Link: Cookie’s referral link to Pacifica. When you join Pacifica via this link, you will get 10% discount on your trading fees & a 5% boost on your Pacifica Points. When you trade or refer others after you joined through Cookie’s Ref Link, Cookie earns the equivalent of 5% Pacifica Points that you earn. These points will then be converted into the Cookie Pacifica rewards, which will be distributed 100% among the participants in the Cookie x Pacifica campaign.
