As a $COOKIE staker, you will accumulate Cookie Points that will place you in one of the five Multi Airdrop Farming tiers, determining when and how much you can contribute to a farming pool.
The $COOKIE points are accumulated based on the combination of two factors:
1) The amount of $COOKIE you are staking. 1 $COOKIE = 1 point
2) The duration of a staking pool in which you are staking. A poolβs duration determines a multiplier for your Cookie Points accumulated from the amount staked.
The multiplier for every staking pool is as follows:
Your Cookie Points are calculated as follows:
Cookie Points = Number of $COOKIE staked x Single Staking Pool duration Multiplier
Your Cookie Points are:
Non-tradable & non-transferable.
Existing as long as you stake your $COOKIE tokens.
Burned when you unstake $COOKIE.
Sumed from across all staking pools.
The number of Cookie Points you accumulate places you in one of five farming tiers: Diamond, Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze. Your farming tier determines how much and when you can contribute to the farming pool, which determines the amount of airdrop you will receive as your APY.
Once the farming pool for a token opens, the stakers with a higher tier will get priority access to the farming pool. The amount users can contribute to that pool will be greater for higher-tier stakers, meaning the airdrop allocation they can receive will be higher.
If youβre excited about an upcoming airdrop, you may want to consider staking some more $COOKIEs to move to a higher staking tier. Be sure to do it before taking a snapshot of a given farming pool. The snapshot time for every farming pool will be announced on that projectβs farming page and with the Cookkie DAO and Cookie3 community channels.
Here is how many Cookie Points you need for every tier:
Check out the following scenarios to better understand how Cookie Points and farming tiers work.
Example 1.
Fuzzybull.eth is staking 1000 $COOKIE in the 14-day pool.
This means his Cookie Points are calculated as follows:
1000 x 0.5 = 500 Cookie Points amount of $COOKIE staked x multiplier = Cookie Points
Fuzzybull.eth has 500 Cookie Points, which places him in the Bronze tier.
Example 2.
Emma.eth stakes 5,000 $COOKIE in a 180-day pool and 10,000 $COOKIE in a 90-day pool.
This means her Cookie Points are calculated as follows:
(5000 x 3) + (10,00 x 2) = 15,000 + 20,000 = 35,000 Cookie Points amount of $COOKIE staked x multiplier = Cookie Points
Emma.eth has 500 Cookie Points, placing her in the Gold tier.
